change you

This all has left me very cynical. That site doesn’t seem to work at all. There are just way too many matches for a match to have any significance. The same would go for most sites out there I suppose. On the other site I found someone I probably do have a lot in common with. Of course, she’s not exactly attractive. On the first site, there’s some model that wants to be a programmer but she doesn’t want anyone shy. So why did she show up on my match list at all if that’s the case? Does my “personality profile” need to be redone or something? Perhaps it needs to get a little more in-depth.

My destiny seems to lie in me being stuck in front of the computer. Until proven otherwise.

Wanting to change something doesn’t change it. The psychiatrist keeps telling me it’s a first step though.

Love is that wild ride and I can’t start the ignition.

Don’t you get it? I’ve always been alone. Nothing ever changes. Especially not people. In the end, the Universe returns to its previous state. Cyclical. Either that or cynical.

Beware - I don't know about all of them, but Match.com definitely plants some fakes in there to spice up your search results. So if you find someone who's constantly listed as "online", and happens to look like a model, don't take it at face value.
